Garden Bike Tour Moves Forward With November Date

Bike Hutto will be hosting our rescheduled Garden Bike Tour on Saturday, November 12th! We will be riding throughout Hutto’s Olde Town and touring 4 home gardens including the Central Texas Gardener featured gardens of Mike and Donna Fowler. Homeowners of the four gardens will be sharing a variety of information about their home gardens including plant types, wildlife habitat tips, and yard art placement. We will also be riding by the Peterson Community Garden during the tour and talking about the revitalization that the Keep Hutto Beautiful Foundation is working on.  And the library will be discussing the work that has gone into making the Reading Garden a reality.

This is a very beginner friendly ride and all ages are welcome. Each garden tour will be about 20 minutes. We will start and end at the Hutto Public Library Reading Garden located at .  Interested individuals should meet at 9:30am at the Hutto Public Library located at 205 West St. The reading garden is located in the back. We will be leaving for the tour at 9:30am and will be accompanied by a member of the Hutto Police Department Bike Patrol to assist with crossing FM 1660. This is a free event but you must provide your own bike.
